We will be posting a Poll later this evening or tomorrow.  This thread is for Organization Name suggestions ONLY.  We don't want to see any comments about the names in this thread.  Site Organizers have our permission to delete or move any post in this thread that is not a name suggestion.

There have been nominations for Tim Pangburn, MJ Bonanno, Nicholas Rivera, Paul Sorrels, Rusty Gordon, and Russ Abbott.  There have been no objections to these organizers, and there has been steady, constructive activity from these users.  For this reason we would like to make these users "Site Organizers".  Please do not confuse "Site Organizer" with any form Organization Leader.  These users are merely here to help us keep the ever growing forums organized and on topic.  Each of these users will be receiving an e-mail from us asking if they are willing to accept this responsibility along with a list of do's and don'ts.  Site Organizers can be added at any time.  If we feel you are level headed and constructive you may receive an e-mail from us in the future.

in the topic Leader Nominations - Take 2 in the forum TLC Tattoo School
Myskindustry has been working with lawyers on forming the groundwork for organized mobilization of artists to help regulate our industry. We support national regulation of health requirements and licensing. We want to be behind a democratically elected group of artists who can give a voice to our industry. We have the basis for this ready to go. All we ask is that everyone participate and help build it properly, together. We are not trying to control it, or be the leaders of a movement, but rather help organize us into what will most likely be the biggest step tattooing could take: Professional recognition. This can be done. This needs to be done. We are not promoting our own interests, but promoting the interest of all tattooers. We have the tools required to do this.

Russ.  mySkindusty is exactly what you just said.  A "non-profit" organization owned, operated,  and moderated by tattoo artists. Technically speaking we are an LLC, but, we don't generate a profit. And, down the road, any advertising done on the site to generate any money (not for profit, but to pay for servers, programmers, legal advisers, and a very long list of advancements that we have lined up for the community to benefit from) would be screened and enforced to not sell any tattoo kits, or promote scratchers or tattoo schools of any kind. We are a democracy, and won't even change the site without a vote from members. For anyone just signing up, We are tattoo artists, supporting tattoo artist.

If you come up with a system, we are willing to donate our servers to create a system on the site.  We are already in place, you would just need to tell us the parameters of what you would like to see.  We could create a new profile type of "Apprentice" and they would have to be assigned to a studio. Let us know.  We can start working on it as soon as Wednesday.
